I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Hypopigmentation can be improved with a combination of lasers and microneedling/prp. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, if the whitened scar is truly due to a burn and it is now 2 years since the treatment, pigmentation is unlikelky to return. One option would be to consider a good medical tattoo artist to find a perfect color match to add pigment. One must remember to find a midseason color, meaning the spot will look a little lighter during the summer months when you possibly get some tan to your skin if you try to match it to the winter skin color. If you live in a year round sunny climate, simply try to match your skin color at that season. Remember the goal is significant improvement but NOT perfect year round color match.
