The amount of redness or peeling with Fraxel Dual laser depends on the wavelength used and the settings. Your doctor decides on the settings based on what condition is being treated. The settings for pigmentation are different than for scarring. You may require several treatments so be sure to follow-up with your doctor.
Fraxel is a great laser to help with pigmentation and acne scars. Depending on what level and settings you use there may be minimal peeling or no peeling at all.
