Eyebrow hair loss, no other hair loss - young male

Question

I have been experiencing eyebrow hair loss for about 1-2 years. I am a 27 year old male with no other hairloss. My eyebrow hairs fall out very easily and have a white bulb at the end. But, they always grow back fast. It seems as if the hairs are extremely weak. Thyroid and blood test came back healthy. No itching or redness on my face/eyebrows. The dermatologist could only prescribe ketoconazole shampoo to put on my scalp and on my eyebrows. This had no effect.

In my opinion, you need to visit a hair loss expert to determine if there is any other symptoms or signs of hair loss . The most common causes of eyebrow hair loss are telogen effluvium, thyroid disease, alopecia areata, over manipulation and inflammatory hair diseases amongst others. Find a hair loss expert. Ask to see photos.

This phenomenon is common in some young males. See an expert. Stay away from hair transplants as options are entirely medical.

You need to see a dermatologist. He/she will be ablr to find the cause and a solution for your problem.

Ask your dermatologist if you have FFA or some similar condition. If not and you don't have an autoimmune problem, then an eyebrow transplant will work nicely for the loss you have experienced.
