hello labu1785 As you heal, the area may feel “lumpy” and irregular. This, too, decreases with time, and massaging these areas will help soften the scar tissue. You should visit or contact your PS about this concern. 

While it is still early in your healing it does appear as though you have some redundant tissue. Discuss with your plastic surgeon potentially converting to full double incision mastectomy for better contour and outcome. Best of luck!

Thanks for the question.  Unfortunately, if a full double incision mastectomy with nipple grafts is not performed, this can be a consequence.  In the right patient you can "get away" without not performing the double incision.  But the patient needs to have minimum excess skin and ptosis of the breast.  It relies on the skin tightening up and flattening onto the chest wall.  At 2 months out you likely still have some swelling so I would worry too much about a revision now.  At the 6 month mark, if no improvement then you might want to consider something.  It may just need to be a touch up with some liposuction of the residual tissue, or you may need to covert to a full double incision procedure.  Good Luck"The above answer has been given without seeing this patient and cannot be substituted for actual in-person examination and medical advice; it is only opinion. Hi labu1785,Thanks for the post and photos. You will likely require a revision surgery with removal; of excess skin and tissue as well as free nipple grafts. In an effort to preserve blood flow to the niplpes/areolas, too much tissue was left in place and not enough skin tightening was performed. I would wait at least 6 months prior to having any revision surgery. Sincerely,Dr. Dadvand 

You still likely have a minor amount of swelling and it is definitely possible that over time you will get more skin contraction, however looking at your pictures, it appears that you have excess skin and the scars appear low.  I would expect that at some time in the future, you will require a skin excision with free nipple grafting.  Mastectomy without adequate skin removal often leads to this appearance.  I would recommend waiting 6 months to a year before thinking about any revision surgery.
