Straining to go to the bathroom 5 days after Rhinoplasty?

I had a rhinoplasty 5 days ago. Today I strained to go to the bathroom quite a bit. I had a deviated septum fixed as well, is it possible the straining made my septum deviate again or has ruined my rhinoplasty?

It is unlikely that straining to go to the bathroom 5 days after rhinoplasty would affect the results of your septum or nose.  If you are taking pain medication, this can sometimes cause constipation, which can usually be treated.  Contact your surgeon if you feel you are constipated and he or she should be able to help.

Straining in the bathroom after rhinoplasty is doubtful to cause deviation of the nose after your procedure. It could potentially cause bleeding if you strain to hard.
