Hi, I am still in the process of slowly loosing weight. Im concerned about having loose skin but I also don’t want a really big scar. Would a few rounds of BodyTite leave me with a stomach without saggy skin? I was told weight loss will also leave me with saggy skin so a tummy tuck and then Lipo would be the best option. Are there any options with weight loss combined with something other than a tummy tuck that can leave me with a tummy that doesn’t stick out much?
Answer: Considering options To understand what is best for you it's important to understand what each procedure can address. From the submitted photos you have a combination of subcutaneous fat as well as visceral fat. Subcutaneous fat is the fat behind your skin but in front of the abdominal wall. This can be address through liposuction and by a tummy tuck. Visceral fat is the fat that surrounds your organs and is behind the abdominal wall. This can only be improved through weight loss. At this time I encourage you to continue your weight loss efforts. Once you have achieved your goal weight you can reexamine the best options based on the degree of skin laxity.

Answer: Bodytite instead of a Tummy Tuck Thank you for your question. Judging by your photographs, it seems you may have good skin quality. If a patient has good skin quality and minimal to moderate excess fat, they can often achieve excellent results with BodyTite or liposuction alone without needing a tummy tuck. Good skin elasticity allows the skin to retract smoothly after fat removal, which is key for achieving a firm and contoured appearance. BodyTite is particularly effective for patients with mild skin laxity because it combines fat reduction with radiofrequency energy to tighten the skin. This dual action can significantly improve contour and tone, especially in the abdominal area. Liposuction alone may also be sufficient for patients with good skin tone, as the skin will likely retract well on its own. An in-person consultation with a skilled surgeon specializing in Bodytite and liposuction can help determine the most effective approach for your goals. good luck on your journey, Sincerely, Dr. Adam Kinal

Answer: Don't want a tummy tuck scar: Vaser liposuction and Renuvion or Bodytite for body contouring and skin tightening Hello, thank you for question and pictures. Based on the picture you provided. Based on these pictures , I would suggest first to loose weight but very slowly (e.g. 2 pounds per months) in order to reduce the risk of very saggy skin. However the first option should be abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) and Vaser Lipo on the flanks and Back area. This surgical option involves skin removal and can provide better results for excess skin on the abodminal area. If you prefer a less invasive procedure and avoid the bigger scar, then the second option could be Vaser liposuction combined with Renuvion/J plasma or Bodytite on the upper and lower abdomen, flanks (anterior and posterior), and back area (360-degree approach). This method is ideal for fat removal and body contouring and can also improve the waistline if your body allows for it. The combination of Vaser liposuction with J plasma-Renuvion or Bodytite can help increase the probability of skin tightening. The second option is for patients who refuse the abdominoplasty and want to reduce the fat on the abdominal area and improve the body shape and waist line. In my clinical practice, I prefer using Renuvion and usually combine it with Vaser liposuction as I believe it provides better results in terms of body shape and skin tightening. Renuvion only requires one session and is typically performed under general anesthesia or sedation in a hospital setting. Bodytite requires as well 1 session in combination with Morpheus 8 ( 3 sessions 4 weeks apart). My approach , which involves circumferential body Vaser liposuction and Renuvion/J plasma, is an excellent option for women or men who want to improve their body contour and silhouette with fewer scars and avoid a tummy tuck. Before undergoing Vaser liposuction, a preoperative assessment is necessary to determine if you are a suitable candidate. This may include factors such as a BMI less than 30-32, overall health, and any medications you are taking. I strongly recommend scheduling a consultation with one expert body contouring surgeon for a medical and surgical assessment to determine the best treatment for you. I wish you all the best in achieving your desired results. Dr Fiore

Answer: Tummy tuck/BodyTite Hello ! BodyTite is generally most effective for individuals who are in proximity to their desired weight, particularly if they possess visceral fat, which is fat located beneath the muscles encircling the body's organs but it would be still possible to benefit from the procedure in your case, even if a tummy tuck would be the best option. The scar can be treated afterwards and shouldn’t be too visible with a good technique. I Hope this helps, best of luck !

Answer: Body tite question You mentioned the fear of having loose skin after having lost weight and you do not wish to have a tummy tuck. The problem at this point in time is that it’s not that you have so much extra skin or fat, it is the visceral fat or the gut fat that is the main problem in your case. Visceral fat is what’s making you look pregnant. You need to make a very concentrated effort in changing to a healthier lifestyle in order to lose the weight and visceral fat, which is the can cause high blood pressure and possibly diabetes. You can only talk about tightening the skin or a tummy tuck once you have lost the weight and you have reached , your optimal BMI. Be healthy. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City Plastic Surgery.
