The Nonsurgical 3D Vectoring Necklift, using volumizing fillers, a variation of The Nonsurgical 3D Vectoring Facelift, is an excellent alternative for a women in their sixties or even seventies not wishing the expense, discomfort and prolonged downtime of aggressive necklift surgery. I have been performing this technique for several years with gratifying results. For more detail on the procedure, I suggest searching the archives of Realself.com. In general, a nonsurgical necklift takes about fifteen minutes to perform and engenders little to no downtime. Radiesse combined with Juvederm Ultra Plus XC are my favorites for nonsurgical necklifts in my Upper East Side Manhattan practice. And in my Israel satellite office, where a far greater number of regulatory agency approved products are available, I use Radiesse combined with Stylage XXL. If deemed necessary, for further improvement of neck cords, The Nonsurgical 3D Vectoring Necklift can be combined with the Nefertiti lift, i.e. the use of Botox or Dysport within the neck cords and jawline to soften the downward pull of the platysma, which may lead to an even greater straightening of the neck and jawline. More information on the Nefertiti Lift can also be found within the archives of Realself.com.It is crucial to seek consultation and treatment by someone experienced in nonsurgical neck rejuvenation and be sure to ask to see his/her "befores" and "afters."
Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon
Hi,Sagginess of the neck can be due to a variety of factors. For most, it is due to loose skin resulting from ageing and sun exposure. Some patients also have strong superficial neck muscles, known as platysma, which pull on the skin of the neck resulting in the appearance of neck bands or "turkey neck".Botox of the neck, commonly known as the Nefertiti lift, reduces the tension on the neck skin from the underlying platysma muscles, thereby reducing the appearance of neck bands. Neck skin which is free from platysmal tension appears lifted, resulting in a tighter appearance of the neck and lower face.Ultherapy, which gives a lift to neck skin through micro-focused ultrasound is a good treatment for tightening neck skin.Ultherapy of the neck combined with the Nefertiti lift would be my recommendation for a person with your concerns. I hope this helps!Cheers, Dr. Terence Tan, Halley Medical Aesthetics, Singapore
When patients are in their late 60s, there are many facial changes of aging that must be comprehensively addressed to give a proper rejuvenation. The turkey neck is composed of fatty deposits above and below the platysma muscle in the neck which must be removed with liposuction and surgery. A platysma-plasty will also be required. The loose skin in the neck and the face must also be tightened as well as lifting the jowls. A comprehensive lower face and neck lift can accomplish removing the jowls and turkey neck. For many examples of what a lower face/ necklift can accomplish, please see the link and the video below
For non-surgical neck-tightening, I recommendUlthera (Ultherapy). Using ultrasound technology, Ulthera uses focusedultrasound to lift and tighten loose skin over time, without any downtime. However, nothing can quite compare with the fantastic results of a surgicalnecklift. Non-surgical procedures have to be repeated to maintain the look youwant - which means that in the end you'll likely end up spending as much as youwould have on a necklift, which is longer lasting.
