I agree with Dr. Lepore. It is better to ask your surgeon. Many reasons for getting the blue coloration on your lips, it depends of the type of surgery you had, the length of the procedure, if at the time of the shaking you bite your lips, if you are taking a particular medication, etc.

There are a number of things that can cause the lips to appear blue after a surgery. Some of these causes are not serious, but some may be. Let your surgeon know about this situation.
