PRP once every 3 weeks would not likely cause any problems, however it would be a waste. One treatment per month is the ideal regimen in my opinion.
PRP is a fabulous treatment but the ideal way to treat the area is to have the treatments spaced monthly and have 3 treatments. You need time for the skin to heal and new collagen to form. Best, Dr Green
Thanks for your question. By PRP facials I assume you mean microneedling with PRP. Doing this weekly is not advisable. We generally wait 4 weeks, perhaps 3 weeks would be the closest. Doing them too close together increases the risk of side effects and does not improve your result. In fact it might work against a good result by creating too much inflammation. Sometimes "too much" of a good thing, or a "too aggressive approach" with a good thing, is NOT a good thing.Best,Lisa Vuich, MD
You are the perfect candidate for skin rejuvenation. I recommend you try the Vivace microneedling with PRP for great results. Vivace is one of the machines that uses a type of laser in conjunction with microneedling. The PRP or plasma will make the results even more gratifying. Good luck.
Thank you for sharing your question. It probably does not matter too much, but I would suggest have PRP with Microneedling performed first. It is important to make sure your doctor is an expert in both treatments in order to avoid serious complications. Good luck,
Being on an Antibiotic like doxycycline is completely fine. However taking medications such as Nurofen, Votaren and Diclofnac can has some effect while doing this treatment. Please consult with a board certified physician for the best cosmetic result.Best,Dr. Green
