You are never too old to experience some benefits of a PRP treatment such as overall skin rejuvenation. However, without a picture it is difficult to assess whether a PRP treatment would be the best course of action for your needs and desires. PRP is a great treatment and definitely can improve the texture of the skin, but it cannot achieve the same lifting effects that a face lift would.
The Vampire Facelift is appropriate for all ages. It improves skin texture, tone and improves fine lines and wrinkles. It's important to know what it is you are trying to achieve. Having a thorough consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon will help give you an idea of what treatment is best for you. Best of luck!
Thank you for sharing your good question. Your age is fine for treatment with PRP/ Microneedling. Make sure to have an experienced facial expert perform your treatment.Good luck,
Not at all. A vampire facelift is great for rejuvenation, but for best results I recommend a combination approach. I find that a combination of lasers or RF, sculptra for collagen building, microneedling/prp and skin care help the skin rejuvenation and prevent aging. Kybella, Ultherapy and/or ThermiRF treatments (Venus Legacy) would be non-invasive options that would do well in combination for skin tightening. Please see a cosmetic dermatologist for a long term treatment plan. Best, Dr. Emer
Vampire Facial is good for rejuvenating and improving your skin quality. 53 is a great age for this treatment Vampire Facelift is misnomer. This treatment definitely improves the quality of your skin. This Treatment does not treat lines, wrinkles, sun damage, acne scars or add volume to the skin. At our clinics we combine the PRP with micro-needling. This creates a mechanical wound that opens up micro channels on the skin to receive the Platelet Rich Plasma.
No you are not too old. We have seen amazing results from this therapy for our clients some older than you. Including Rosacia being alleviated after this minimally invasive procedure with PRP microneedling
There is no reason that you are "to old". The real question is whether PRP is an appropriate therapy in general for you. In most cases, it will help with the texture of your skin and may also help reduce wrinkles as it builds up collagen under the skin.
You are at the ideal age to have the Vampire facial performed. Many of my patients are exactly your age. You will see such wonderful change in your skin from having this wonderful procedure. Best, Dr. Green
Hello! Thanks for your question. You are actually at the most ideal age to benefit from a Vampire Facelift. Obviously, the younger you are, the better your body will respond to the introduction of Platelet Rich Plasma. At 53, however, your face will not only benefit from PRP Therapy, but might show dramatic differences. As always, consult a trusted professional for accurate answers. In good health,Dr. Berger
At 53 you are at just the right age to benefit from Vampire facelift. It is a simple, quick and safe procedure for facial rejuvenation. Definitely worth it.
Thank you for sharing your question. It probably does not matter too much, but I would suggest have PRP with Microneedling performed first. It is important to make sure your doctor is an expert in both treatments in order to avoid serious complications. Good luck,
Being on an Antibiotic like doxycycline is completely fine. However taking medications such as Nurofen, Votaren and Diclofnac can has some effect while doing this treatment. Please consult with a board certified physician for the best cosmetic result.Best,Dr. Green
For the PRP, I recommend 3 sessions 1 month apart followed by a maintenance at 6 months. This will be good to maintain texture of the skin. As far as the nasolabial folds, we almost never inject these anymore. We usually inject the cheeks to...
