I am planning a trip out of town and i want to party but im scared im having Lipo and bbl on may 21st the trip is july 5th i will be drinking and dancing alot is it safe is there a drinking limit i need to know how long i should chill out before i start going out

Our practice recommends 2 weeks to properly heal before returning to normal light activities. As long as you see a board certified plastic surgeon for your Brazillian Butt Lift and have no complications, you can go on your trip. I would however refrain from drinking or dancing in excess as you do not want to cause injury to yourself in the event of a fall or bumping into things. If you are scheduled to have liposuction and a BBL May 21st on July 5th you will be 6 weeks post- surgery. At 6 weeks, most patients are just starting to feeling up to resuming their normal extra-curricular activities.  The fat transferred to your buttocks is still fragile. I would recommend you being cautious. Also we recommend our patient not to sit without their curve cushion until 3 month post procedure. It is typically okay for you to drink alcoholic beverages as long as you are not taking medication.
