Push ups and dual plane breast implants? (Photo)

Thank you for your question and photographs and I am sorry that your implants have caused you concern.  By three months you should be able to resume all of your presurgery activities without restriction but clear this with your surgeon for your own peace of mind.  Without a full series of photographs before and after surgery it is difficult to comment on your current results but you can also voice this to your surgeon so that a review of your pre-surgery plan can be done. 

Good clinical photography helps evaluate breast and breast implant position.  It is very hard for any surgeon to tell what is going on when a patient takes their own photos with their arms and and shoulders in different positions.  It is always better when a patient has someone else to take the photo with front, 2 oblique, and 2 side views - standing straight with shoulder straight.   Include neck to umbilicus (belly button) - we can always crop in.  The seflies involve holding the camera (phone) up with arm - which usually pulls - displaced that implant upward.

I perform cosmetic surgery in many body builders/fitness competitors/bikini. I have never seen a case where a patient could not safely do whatever exercises they wanted to do well before three months post-op and without adverse effect. This includes patients who have had "internal bra" procedures.

At 3 months, you are probably able to go back to almost any activity. Best to review with you surgeon.  Good luck.

In USA we have no experience with solid mono bloc  silicone implants placed in Europe! My guess is ok to exercise at 3 months postop. Why not email your European surgeon this question?

If you can avoid the pushups you should if you have smooth round implants as over time the muscles will displace the implant downward and laterally. if you must do then I would recommend to wait 6 months to one year and then not be aggressive. When using textured implants this is not an issue.Good luck!

Thank you for your question.  Her result looks very nice.  The slight asymmetry that you see is likely caused by asymmetry preop.  The left breast and nipple was likely higher before surgery and it is taking longer for that implant to settle and drop into position.   You must ask your surgeon about doing pushups.  However in my practice patients who have had dual plane breast augmentation are usually able to do pushups by 3 months.
