Why is there a line of hardness under my arm after lipo? (Photo)

Question

I had arm lipo done 3 weeks ago and I have lumps and lines under my arms. Is this normal? It also still hurts to raise my arms. It feels like I'm pulling something or straining when I move my arms up.

Hello, if you had lipo done in your arms, it seems like an irregular bump, due to superficial liposuctioning. Its probable that it will fade away in the upcoming weeks. If it persists a revision could be done to undermine the skin from the fat tissue and make it look better. Best wishes

It is normal at 3 weeks to feel lumpy and bumpy after 
liposuction. Reassess that area at 3 months. I suspect it will have smoothed out 
considerably.

Swelling within the connective tissue can create banding in discomfort as that connective tissue is stretched. This is much more likely to be seen if the liposuction was assisted by a laser or ultrasound.

Hi jcoba.To me the line looks like might be caused by a compression garment, and massage may help that.  Lumps at this point are normal.  The tight pulling sensation may be an indication that you need to do range of motion exercises.You need to run this by your doctor first however.sek

Appears as over aggressive lipo done causing the scar deformities and lumps. Aggressive massages with external ultrasound therapy PLUS NPT injections will help.
