Great question! You're absolutely correct in that fillers are commonly used in the region of the cheek bones. However, fillers are also commonly utilized in the lower face and would certainly be helpful in achieving your goal. When it comes to filler in the region you described, I often tell patients my goal is to soften the shadows we see, while also avoiding adding too much volume which would look unnatural. most of my younger clients use fillers to give them shaping especially on the cheeks, jawline, and chin which make the face look more slim and tight; and threads such as PDO or Instalift can build collagen and support the facial shaping and skin looseness over time, slowing down the aging process and given the face a more “snatched” look; and morpheus deep microneedling RF can tighten crepe skin especially on the neck and jawline and is great for long term tightening of the full face, neck and chest; its often used to give the face a slimmer more sculpted look because it tightens the skin and gives lift.  an early face lift can be performed as well even in younger clients if they want a different facial shape, maxillofacial surgery with bone breaking or shaving can also be done.

Fillers are commonly used to improve facial contours. HA fillers work well and last 1-2 years depending on selected filler. Another option for longer results is Sculptra. This product works differently than HA fillers. It takes longer to see the results and more than one treatment may be required, but it can give you beautiful, longer lasting natural results. Absolutely, there are fillers for the areas that concern you! When performing my ProContourMD Liquid Facelift (tm), I call the areas you have noticed CK4 and CK5, and inject fillers made of hyaluronic acid with a cannula, at the depth of subcutaneous fat, for a safe and painless treatment unlikely to bruise and the most natural results. Another option would be to employ a biostimulatory filler such as Sculptra over one to two sessions. Both treatments should recontour the areas of the face where you could use a bit more volume for a fresher, healthier look that should last for 2 years or more.

Yes, filler, either a HA product or fat, would improve the area that concerns you. Unfortunately, this area is quite tricky because there is no underlying support and it requires careful injection into the superficial fat compartment by an expert to prevent contour problems. We do this frequently with excellent results.
