When I push back on the nipple, I feel actually breast tissue inside of them, and when pushed back create an actual round breast. I'm 20 and my nipples have been like this since puberty. The nipple is as large as my four fingers. What can I do to fix them? They seem so abnormal and I can barely take my shirt off in front of my HUSBAND without wanting to cry.

Answer: Breast is not round, extremely large areolas, a lot of breast tissue behind nipple. Hi... thank you for the question and photos.. You have a condition known as tuberous breast deformity.. One of the characteristics are "puffy areola", its like a ring that cause tissue to herniate, thats why they are like this. This is treated with surgery expanding the base of the breast, and Breast augmentation to achieve the desire size and shape.

Answer: Tuberous Breasts Based on your pictures and your description you have a very classic tuberous breast. This is actually more common than you realize. The good news is that this can be fixed by an experienced, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. Corrective surgery for this usually involved placing an implant (either above or below the muscle), reducing the size of the areola and releasing some of the tight fibrous tissue and the lower portion of the breast. This can almost always be done with minimal visible scarring.
