Whenever fillers are used, we advocate the serial puncture and microdroplet technique which involves placing small drops of filler into an area which then will become completely contained by somebody's body with a minimal inflammatory response. If too much of a filler is injected with each puncture, the chance of migration increases. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
Dear Brendaxoxo,no, dermal filler should not be able to migrate from nose into the eyelid. If you have any concerns, I would suggest you to consult your injector. Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Society of Plastic Surgery
No, this is extremely unlikely. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to go over your desired results. Facial fillers (voluma, restylane, juvederm) can be used to improve the symmetry of the nose. Surgery would be needed to improve nostrils or overall shape. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Filler may migrate in any direction typically at the time of injection. If both eyelids are swollen the reaction may be due to swelling from the injection or an allergic response to the product.Consulting with your treatment provider is your best option. Please consult in person with an experienced Board Certified Plastic Surgeon prior to making treatment decisions. Based on your photos, you appear to have a suitable nose lip angle, and a feminine curve on profile. Based on what I see, it may be best to leave your nose alone. I do not think that fillers would lead to anything other than a larger nasal appearance. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
Sometimes patients consult us for rhinoplasty surgery after having had previous temporary gel fillers. I have been amazed that nasal HA filler may dissolve within 48 hours of receiving the dissolving enzyme. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Thank you for your question. Depending on the cause of your nasal tip droop (ptosis), there are several nonsurgical options. If your depressor septi nasalis is overactive, 4 to 8 units of a neuromodulator (Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin) is a simple solution. If you need structural support to yo...
I can see your concern in your before and after photos. It's very slight, and most people don't see it. My concern about pursuing injectable fillers is that it might lead to a widened nasal appearance on front view. Severe dissatisfaction with the appearance of your nose, you may wish to...
