Terrible scarring around ears after lower face and neck lift - how do I fix this? (photos)

Question

I had a lower face and neck lift which left me with terrible scarring around my ears and deformed lobes. There's also some extra skin behind my ear. Pls help. How do I fix this? The ear lobes are the worst part. I'm 5 months post op.

Keloid and hypertrophic scars usually go through a stage of active inflammation. This process can be modulated to prevent bad scarring. Microneedling with PRP or resurfacing lasers will certainly help the scarring shown on the pictures to a certain degree. You will need a few sessions and that will be determined by your provider. Extra skin will have to be address by your plastic surgeon or dermatologist but, these 2 treatments are great at fading scars.
