I've got dermal fillers under my eyes and on my smile lines. I'd like to lose 10-15lbs, I was wondering if this will bother the filler or make it go away? I'd also like to get more, any advice is great thanks

Answer: Filler injections Losing weight generally should not directly affect your dermal fillers. The fillers are injected into the specific areas of your face to enhance volume and smooth out wrinkles, and they are not directly influenced by changes in body weight. However, it's worth noting that weight loss can sometimes result in changes to your facial structure. As you lose weight, the fat pads in your face may shrink, and this can alter the appearance of your cheeks and jawline, potentially impacting the way your fillers look. It's difficult to predict exactly how weight loss will affect your specific case, as individual results can vary. If you're considering getting more dermal fillers, I would recommend consulting with a qualified and experienced dermatologist or cosmetic surgeon. They will be able to assess your current situation, discuss your desired outcomes, and provide you with personalized advice based on your unique facial anatomy and goals. They can also evaluate the areas you've had fillers before and determine if any touch-ups or additional treatments are necessary. I hope this helps, best of luck !
