And if so, what filler are recommended for neck bands and what are the success rates when used in the neck area?
Answer: How you may benefit from Botox Thank you for your question. Neck lifts should generally reduce the appearance of neck bands by tightening the muscles that cause them. If you’re not interested in revision surgery at this time, Botox injections are an effective, short-term treatment option that can minimize platysma muscle activity and diminish the appearance of the bands. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon or expert injector. They will be able to review your surgical history, assess your concern, and help you decide on the best treatment option.

Answer: Neck Lines / Tech Neck / Neck Wrinkles -- Soft Fillers (Belotero) in combination w/ Lasers and Microneedling/PRP "Injecting soft fillers like Belotero in this area can reduce lines, wrinkles and folds as well as improve skin texture with long-term collagen production. Fillers are being used more frequently to contour and lift rather than solely line fill. Of course, fillers are best used in combination with lasers and microneedling with PRP to get the optimal outcome. I suggest getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to create an individualized treatment plan that works for you. Best, Dr. Emer"

Answer: Injections for neck bands
As far as injections for neck bands the only one that appears to be successful in some patients is Botox. Fillers don't have a big role

Answer: Neck “Bands” and Fillers?
Thank you for the question.
Fillers will not be effective for the treatment of platysma muscle bands. If the bands are of significance on surgical correction (revision) will certainly be the most effective treatment.
Best wishes.

Answer: Fillers won't work
Fillers are not usually used for neck bands... I can't think of any reason why it should be considered. Botox or Dysport can be used in certain situations to soften the 'muscle banding'. Surgery is the best option; even if you have had it before, it would be perfectly alright to have a 'touch up' procedure again.
