Is it possible to use fillers to make the chin look less square and more pointed, or is that unrealistic?

I'm talking about the chin itself, not the jaw. Assuming this is possible, would it be injected against the bone? How would you personally go about it?

Fillers have been used for decades already for increasing chin projection and improving contour (broadening and squaring the chin for men and tapering it for women). I personally have been using fillers for this purpose for about three decades. As to where  the filler is injected, it is placed wherever it it needed to obtain the desired result; this is why it is so important that you make sure to consult with an experienced, board certified, cosmetic dermatologist injector. I think you can get the desired look you are going for using filler (within reason of course). By placing filler centrally in the chin on top of the bone you can get that projection your looking for. You may need to have some placed laterally just to balance the chin out as well but the majority of the fill would be central.

I often start with syringe, and at times as a second one. Expect a little stiffness for a few days following injection.
