Hi. I had a cyst removed from the side of my head over 3 months ago. It left a bald spot with a slight dent. So I had the same doctor do a scar reduction where he stitched it up but now it's just a long laceration mark running down the side with a tiny bump you can't see in the photos that wasn't there before. I'm guessing the bump came from being stitched. They didn't cut any of my hair follicles but I'm still uncomfortable with how it look. Can this be fixed?

I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist for after care. I recommend silicon gel with growth factors and hyperbaric oxygen to promote healing. Any scarring can be improved with lasers and microneedling/prp. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
