So is fatigue normal? when should i completely stop pain meds?
Answer: Tummy Tuck Answers Dear Selfie Mom: I tell all my patients that though they may feel like going back to a desk job at two weeks, it takes about four weeks to start to feel like your old self again and you need to pace yourself or you will feel tired. You did have a major operation after all. Also, no abdominal exercises for six to eight weeks. I hope this has been helpful.

Answer: Tired after surgery Fatigue is very common after any surgery. Your body has gone though a lot- and it takes a lot of energy for your body to do the healing part. The best thing to do is try to get off your pain medications completely- switch over to Tylenol only and start drinking some protein shakes. Shakes high in protein very low in surgery- this will give you more energy and also help you heal faster. After two weeks you should be able to stand up straight now- this will help with your back pain. Good luck.
