Thank you for your question. It might be helpful to provide some photos or a description of what exactly is going on. While fat transfer to the forehead is technically possible, it may not be the best treatment option. Generally speaking, there is not a lot of natural fat in the forehead, so placing fat there could produce an unnatural result. Best to see a local board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your concerns.Dallas Buchanan, MDVIVIFY plastic surgeryTampa, FL
It is possible to transfer fat to areas of the forehead and temples. Depending of the presented problem other types of fillers including cadavers bone grafts, HA granules, permanent filler or silicone implants may be used for the same purpose. In person or teleconference consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon would help to define the problem and discuss solutions. Good luck.
The answer is yes! That grafting techniques to the face have improved drastically over the past 10 years. Harvesting fat from other areas both improves the contour of those areas that have unwanted fat, while providing your own bodies’ own, natural fat for treatment of facial fat atrophy, and hollow areas. We take this fat and clean it to obtain very pure and usable fat for grafting. I also take it a step further to size the fat into various thickness particles using a Lipo cube device. This allows me to obtain thicker fat for deeper structures of the face while using very thin, micro fat for superficial areas of the face like fine lines and wrinkles. Using fat in this way, as a layered substrate, helps improve results. Obviously, this entire technique depends on the patient’s age, fat storage locations, and overall facial characteristics. Consult with your surgeon to find out if you are a good candidate.
Botox act only on the muscle activity and has zero impact on the deeper tissues, so it totally safe to have Botox done and later have the fat grafting. It will be important Not to have Botox effect if you are having eyebrow repositioning. Be encouraged. Dr. Cardenas
