I had 3cc`s of Fat Injections on each side of my cheeks. What percentage will become permanent?

We usually assume that about 40-50% of the fat will be resorbed.   3cc of fat is a very small volume, so you should be fine.  It will occasionally feel lumpy at first, but this should resolve.

The lumpiness in the cheeks will undoubtably go away. It is very common to have what you are feeling at just one week after the injections. No one knows how much fat will stay or go in any patient. But almost always more than 50% of the injected fat, if not more, will be absorbed by six weeks after the procedure.

it's very early and even in my own patients I tell them it is quite common to look asymmetric ordered just to look plain bad within the first 10 days if not 2-3 weeks in some cases.  U being young I would assume that the treatment you received was more conservative.  3 cc of fat and each cheek is a moderate amount and I would expect anywhere from 1-2 cc and total to go away.  He also have to remember that some of the volume that he see currently is nothing but swelling.Get in touch with her doctor and follow closely.  The patient as the healing process is just that.  A process.I'll attach a link to a patient who documented her healing process in great detail.  Hopefully U will find that helpfulChase Lay, MDDouble board-certified facial plastic surgeon
