Hello: I was reading online that it is possible for the fat cells that have been destroyed by these two technologies to come back if a person gains weight (and I hear this is also the case for liposuction). I read that the body can make new fat cells in the treated areas and other areas of the body if a persons calorie intake is high. Therefore, results are only permanent if a person maintains a healthy eating habit and a stable body weight. Is this true?? Thank you !

Answer: Can Fat Come Back after SculpSure and CoolSculpting?
Paradoxical Adipose Hyperplasia has not been associated with SculpSure treatments. It has been reported with cryolipolysis (CoolSculpting). Some patients who have had SculpSure treatments may develop nodules in the treated areas. However, these are temporary (and uncommon).
In no way will having your period effect the results of the treatment. The only thing is you may be more sensitive at this time, the pain being a little more uncomfortable but we do offer pronox (laughing gas) for anyone who needs!
Most patients feel a tingling sensation intermittently...
SculpSure treatment will not do damage to muscle. It may be possible to treat excess fat around your calves, but ultimately, an examination of you would be needed to determine if you might be a good candidate for the treatment.
