Is Smart Lipo contraindicated for bleeding disorders? (Photo)

Liposuction would be very risky with VWD. Not recommendable. Diet and exercise would be your best options.

Your hematologist is the best source of information regarding the safety of an invasive procedure. In general, an invasive cosmetic procedure would most likely be contraindicated. Coolsculpting, while not as effective as liposuction, may be a satisfactory alternative.

Smartlipo will be a much better for reducing fat than Coolsculpting, which i think is pretty useless in my opinion. (i think Sculpsure is better).you could still do Smartlipo with Von Willebrands but you definitely need to consult a hematologist first. there are different levels of VW and you can treat them with DDAVP etc. Smartlipo and other types of liposuction can be very helpful reducing fat in the treated areas. However, there is no magic. You will still need to reduce your total body fat which comes about mostly by dieting and to a lesser extent by exercise. Anyone with Von Willebrand's can bleed quite significantly with liposuction. Your before photo is beautiful. I would recommend you lose the weight with a good weight loss program, such as what we offer. Results will be even better than CoolSculpt and so will your health. Good luck.
