for the longest time monolid eyes have always been very pretty and attractive eye shape to me. I don't have very caucasian eyes, they are rather almond, and I'm of hispanic heritage. where and how can i consult with an experienced doctor to make my eyes look more like monolids? I live on the East Coast of USA. I'm afraid of getting a botched procedure for an unusual request. (attached photo is picture references of the eye look I wish to have) Additional information like side effects or risks of this kind of eye surgery would be appreciated

Answer: Notwithstanding social media (with photoshopped photos) this is not really possible.
IMHO further surgery will only make you at risk for possible complications. There are genetic factors playing a very strong role in the way the upper third of your face looks. Continued removal of upper lid skin and or further eyebrow lifting may lead to an inability to shut your eyes completely...
Hi - I would agree that everyone is asymmetric, but if you wanted to make your eyes more "almond shaped" a canthopexy or canthoplasty would tighten the lower lid and give a more positive vector and almond shape. There are limitations and I would ensure that you understand expectations and results.
Generally it takes a few months to have these problems resolve completely after surgery. Hot compress with tea help. I'm not familiar with that product.
