Didn't have this problem as a kid but ever since i was a teen i noticed my left eye was droopy compared to right. I understand its probably because of the extra hooding on it, but is it ptosis? And is my eye going to be fully even after doing the surgery?

Typically patients are out of contacts for 1 week after surgery. However, if you can put your contacts in while being gently with the lids, you could probably go back in 2-3 days.
