First, IPL is a great treatment for red and brown spots on the face. After the treatment, your skin often gets a little crusty and sloughs off, especially in areas of pigment. The skin can be dry during this time even if you don't tend to have dry skin, and I would recommend a high quality medical grade skin regimen including a moisturizer that can help during this phase. You should also refrain from retinols during the healing phase after IPL, at least 5-7 days. I do not recommend Neutrogena products as they contain fragrances and alcohol and no medical-strength antioxidants or retinol. The eye cream is likely contributing to the dryness in that area.
