What kinds of exposure contribute to melasma? x-Ray? Sun through my window?

Melasma_Depression
I'm becoming very concerned with what to avoid. I wear spf all the time (even at night) but when I'm in the shower could the light bulb be damaging? Are the airport screening machines damaging? My computer screen? Dental x-Ray? Is there some sort of patch I could place over the area to block out something like that?
