I've had costochondritis for over a year & I'm frequently in excruciating pain for hours or days at a time. Wearing any bra at all makes it much worse (40 G). Rx painkillers help slightly, but I'm still incapacitated by the pain sometimes. My primary doctor & pain specialists tell me they can do nothing for me, & suggested breast reduction. But between the stress on the ribcage during the surgery & having to wear a compression bra afterward, it sounds like the pain could become unimaginably bad.
