Can IPL cause fat loss?

Question

Dear Doctors. I read a lot of comments here about how IPL or lasers ruined their faces, especially by fat loss. I did not find a single doctor opinion here that agreed with this. Please let me know what is your opinin about this?Do you suggest that all these people are hallucinating or maybe it is possible? Or maybe you believe it - if yes- don't you think you should do something about this?

IPL is used to treat sun spots, telangiectasis, and photo rejuvenation.  It has no effect on fat cells. Always seek treatment from a qualified physician.

IPL, or intense pulsed light, will not result in fat cell death, like Cool Sculpting or Vanquish radiofrequency treatments. Fat cell death only occurs when the fat cells are cooled or heated.
