My at-home laser is not working on my underarm but works on the bikini area, any ideas as to why?

I have bought a laser to use at home and have been using it for under 2 years. it has been effective for my bikini area but not for my underarms. I have been doing it every 2 weeks, have even bought numbing cream so I can laser for longer at the greatest intensity and still nothing. It has slightly thinned out since before the journey but not enough at all. Please help

Hello and thank you for your question. To my knowledge at home laser devices do not cause cancer. That being said, they aren’t very effective for hair removal. Its best to see a professional and get a proper treatment. Best wishes. Dr. T
