Can a TT scar be fixed without general anesthesia? Shouldn't my PS fix this for me? How long to wait? (photos)

Folds and creases are not uncommon after a TT in certain individuals because swelling figures prominently in the post operative period.   Now that you are about two months post TT, they should be less noticeable.  Be patient and continue to follow up with your PS.  Wait at least six months to assess results before you consider a revision.

I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a tummy tuck surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively.At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides  you will be able to see the final result of your surgery.

Thank you for your question. You are very early in the healing process. There is definitely swelling present and as that goes down some things may continue to change for you. If you do require a scar revision, it can be done in the office with local. At this time, I would suggest waiting at least 6 months before you do anything further.

Thank you for your question and I’m sorry for your concern. If your concern is the part of the scar that rises above the panty line, then yes this could probably be done under local anesthesia in the office. Every surgeons opinion is different however. I would recommend letting the tissues mature for at least 6 months before considering the revision so that the tissue is soft and mobile enough to move. I hope this helps.
