is it okay if I get facial treatment after 5 months of nose job?

Im almost 5 months post-op and I notice that i got more blackheads on my nose, so can i get a facial treatment for my skin? Is it going to hurt my nose and change the shape ?

At this time, you certainly can get a facial treatment for your skin.  You should not have any issues.  However if you have a lot of concerns, feel free to contact your operating surgeon as they know the details of the procedure you had.  Congratulations on your rhinoplasty, and happy healing!

Thank you for this wonderful question! I typically will release my patients to do self massage and have facials, including the nose, at 4 weeks post-operative. I always encourage patients to follow up with their Board Certified Plastic Surgeon as he/she may have a post-operative recovery plan in place that is tailored specifically for your needs. I like to follow up with my patients in our Centre Yourself Medical Spa for facial treatments and care following all cosmetic surgeries. You are not going to disrupt the ultimate outcome of your rhinoplasty with a facial. It may swell a bit but this will resolve in a week. Have at it.

At this time, you can get any facial treatment for your skin. The only issue, is that your surgeon or beautician who will do the treatment take it easy over the nose, since it could be till now sensitive.
