I have a weak lower face - how can I fix my chin and jawline? (Photos)
I’m a 31-year-old woman and I’ve always disliked my lower face/profile. I feel like I have a weak chin and jawline, and my lower face lacks definition and structure. Even when I barely pull my face back in photos, you can still see a lot of fullness/fat under my chin and around my lower face, to the point where it sometimes looks like I have almost no jawline at all. I’m trying to understand whether my issue is: * chin projection, * jaw structure, * lack of definition under the chin/jaw, * or a combination of these. I’m considering procedures such as: * sliding genioplasty, * chin/jaw liposuction, * or other structural options. However, I do NOT want: * chin implants, * filler, * threads, * or temporary camouflage treatments. I’ve had filler before and did not like the look or feel of it, so I’m specifically interested in permanent structural improvement and natural-looking results. Based on my photos, would sliding genioplasty make sense, or does this look more like a jaw/neck contouring issue? I’d especially appreciate opinions from surgeons experienced with natural feminine results rather than dramatic projection.
