16 mnths ago I had surgical mole removal. Immediately after I noticed dog ears on either side of the incision. The clinic told me to massage the area and wait 18 mnths. Yesterday I visited the surgeon who denied there are dog ears on the scar and said it looks perfect, when I showed him the photo 10 days post op he said that he purposely creates dog ears to reduce the size of the scar. Is this standard practice? Also, can anyone else see the dog ears on the scar?
