Scar revision for punch excision gone wrong? (Photo)

I have been cautioning my regular readers for years that the use of surgical revision or punch excisions of scars in areas subject to a great deal of movment or static tension (such as the forehead) run the risk for the development of indented stretch scars and even tram track stitch marks. TCA CROSS, a nonsurgical procedure that would literally take a second to perform (and can be used in all skin types) is an excellent method for dealing with enlarged pores and ice pick scars and would be my recommendation for the other enlarged pores here. Subcision, which can also be safely and effectively used for elevating and smoothing indented scars from all causes, including post-surgery, would be a very reasonable approach for the post-punch scar. Microneedling is best reserved for treating superficial surface and texture irregularities and not surprisingly was unsuccessful in dealling with the current issues. Make sure to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist and best of luck.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like you would benefit from subcision and dermal fillers or fat transfer. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.
