Teosyal Redensity II not dissolving, distorted my best feature. How can this be dissolved?

I had Teosyal Redensity II for my teartrough 18 months ago which the doc filled on my upper cheeks without my knowledge. I was so overfilled and numb we had to dissolve it but I still have it on my cheekbones after 18 months. I have visited many doctors and even contacted Teoxane (terrible company) but no doctor wanted to help me and the ones who tried was only able to dissolve 50% which left me with humps&bumps. My cheekbones disappeared due to filler. how can this be dissolved?

Although without photos, it is especially difficult to say, but is very possible you are describing what has come to be called "puffy pillows" located in the upper cheeks below the eyes resulting from either an improper choice of filler and/or too superficial placement of the filler. If this is the case, the problem can be quite difficult to treat. I have had personal success using a combination of hyaluronidase and varying concentrations and combinations of intralesional anti-inflammatory agents. Make sure to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist and best of luck.

Longterm filler problems include migration, edema, and nodularity. Filler migration and permanence is a very common problem because there are many different types of HA fillers on the market and each is specified for a specific part of the face. Use of highly cohesive fillers on thin skin may cause swelling and nodularity. If patients have filler migration or nodules, we recommend a combination approach of filler reversal with enzymes Hylenex and Hyaluronidase in different strengths to dissolve the filler. We may also need to add Kenalog to the mix in order to reduce fibrous tissue. If the filler does not dissolve, it either means the filler is not HA material or we need more enzyme. The HA reversal can be combined with other lasers and skin treatments at the same time, and it usually (usually) does not affect adjacent tissue.
