30/F - I DO NOT WANT SCULPTRA OR BELLAFIL Noticed my forehead has lost volume and firmness, it's thinner and less elastic. Alot of these 'Biostimulators' cannot be injected into the forehead (something to do with the blood in the forehead?) What is the best one for this area (I've read redensity1 possibly?) I also want the product that will stimulate collagen production the most for rest of my face. Sunekos, Ellanse & Redensity 1 are so new it's hard to know what is better than the other.
Answer: Hyaluronic Acid Fillers Can Restore Forehead Volume & Youthful Contour You are quite right to be cautious regarding the use of fillers in the forehead. It is certainly a highly vascular region, and, as such, demands treatment by an experienced, board certified aesthetic physician. That being said, volumization and improvement in contour can be achieved with the proper technique and the use use of an appropriate hyaluronic acid-based filler. I agree to stay away from permanent fillers, such as Bellafil; long-lasting ones, such as Radiesse, since these products cannot be dissolved nor easily removed. I am no fan of Sculptra and stopped using it entirely several years ago. For treating foreheads, you would be wise to ensure that you consult with a board certified aesthetic physician and avoid novice injectors and medspa venues. Best of luck.

Answer: Biostimulator/skinbooster Hi there, thank you for your question. Redensity is a HA filler, not a biostimulator. So it will add volume to an area but it will not stimulate collagen production. I would recommend consulting with an experienced practitioner to address all of your questions/concerns prior to booking for a procedure. Best of luck!

Answer: Volume loss Redensity and Profhilo are hyaluronic acid fillers (HA's), and are not neither biostimulating nor 'skinboosters' (whatever that is, no filler affects the skin). Regardless, HA's are the prefered product to use for forehead recontouring/volumizing, whether you choose one of those you mentioned, or the more popular products like Restylane Define/Refine or Juvederm Voluma/Volure.

Answer: Facial Rejuvenation -- PRP/Microneedling, Lasers (Fraxel, Clear+Brilliant, Erbium, CO2), Sculptra, Thermage, Ultherapy, Botox For facial rejuvenation, I would suggest a combination approach. It is common to lose volume in the forehead area especially around the temples or above the eyebrows. These are areas we routinely do filler injections to raise your brows and create more structure to areas of volume loss. Additionally, I advise a combination approach. Skin care is an essential part of this plan which would include dermarolling, AnteAGE growth factors, AnteAGE Accelerator, Sente dermal repair, and other skin care essential based on your specific skin and goals. I recommend a virtual or in-person consultation either with me, one of my providers, and/or skin care specialist since you are here in LA. Additionaly, I encourage a combination approach to reaching one's goals and based on what you gave shared, we would consider: 1) skin care with products and microneedling/PRP 2) PDT Light Therapy a few times per month with growth factors 3) laser treatments like Clear + Brilliant regularly and others (Fraxel, Viva, CO2, Erbium) a few times per year 4) Sculptra injections a few times per year for collagen production with fillers like Juvederm, Restylane, Belotero, Radiesse, and/or Bellafill 5) Thermage/Ultherapy for yearly skin tightening with or without PDO or cone-based Instalift threads for lifting 6) Botox every 2 to 3 months to stop movement lines and prevent lines at rest. Hope to see in you the office soon. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Best 'Biostimulator' or 'Skinbooster' How do I choose Sunekos,Ellanse, Profhilo, Redensity1, Volite, or Skinboosters? Hi astro, Using an automated injection system (Medi-Inject), your skin can be "boosted" with micro injections at precise depth. Our patients love the treatment. I use Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) mixed with hyaluronic acid filler, botox, and vitamin C. Feel free to contact our office with any further questions. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
