What can be done to fix my acne scarring?

I have had a light fraxel, micro needling with and without prp, chemical peels, accutane etc. Nothing works every Dr insists on doing the same thing and don’t seem to see the issues as serious as I do. Dermatologist only seem to care if you have a skin cancer and plastic surgeons not at all. What kind of Dr can I see who will treat my concerns and actually examine my skin and tell me what’s wrong

First, let me say that I am sorry that you have met with frustration and dismissal. Acne scarring is a very serious condition that can cause very serious damage to self-esteem and disruption of a person's life. I am not surprised by the lack of success with fraxel lasers and PRP, as these relatively expensive, and heavily promoted "bells and whistles" treatments are unfortunately backed far more by marketing hype than hard science. Microneedling, which I have been performing for over two decades, can be an effective treatment as a final "polishing" step for blending treated scars better with the surrounding skin, but is not particularly effective as a monotherapy for all but the most superficial, surface skin color and texture irregularities. So, again, no surprises that you were disappointed there, too. Subcision, which I have been performing since 1995, is a relatively inexpensive and simple technique for elevating and smoothing boxcar and rolling scars and is both safe and effective for all skin types. TCA CROSS, which I have been using to treat ice pick scars and dillated pores for the past twenty years is another proven safe and effective treatment for all skini types. It's time you seek consultation and treatment with a board certified cosmetic dermatologist with extensive experience in acne scar treatments. Hope this helps.
