Stretch marks on calfs - is there any kind of surgery that could help remove them?

Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery.

Stretch marks are a type "scar" on your skin where the skin itself has lost some of it's supporting proteins (collagen and elastin). This leaves texture irregularities, and sometimes some color irregularities as well.
As for your question, unfortunately a surgery to remove this is unlikely to help as it may remove the stretch mark, but in it's place leave a surgical scar instead.
The preferred treatment for stretch marks would be using a fractional laser, such as the Icon 1540 with an XD tip, which will cause damage to the skin in order to stimulate the fibroblasts (the skin's "construction worker" cells) to replace the lost collagen and elastin. The laser causes small columns of thermal damage through the skin layers with plenty of unaffected skin layers in between. As the skin heals, new collagen and elastin fill the area. It will take a few treatments, but the stretch mark texture is likely to improve with this process.
