At least once every few months my nose becomes inflamed, even though I am using topical retinoids and actives. It is treated as cellulitis (mupiriocin intranasal + tmp/smx) but always recurs, leaving redness and hyperpigmentation for months. 5 months of low dose oral isotretinoin helped reduce the frequency for a few years but it recently has been happening again. Are there any lasers/lights or other methods that can help with this? I would prefer not to use isotretinoin again for this problem.
