Hello, Firstly I want to say any information regarding a prognoses and treatment will be really appreciated. This issue started 2 years ago and I currently have an ENT referral in place. In 2019 I got my septum pierced whilst on accutane. This was removed in 2020 and the lump began forming in 2022. It’s a hard flesh coloured hard lump which caused no pain until recently. The lump is now stretching my septum causing bad appearance and pain. Please help or advise if I can fix this. Thank you.

The rhinoplasty is an intricate, complicated operation, and should not be done at the same time as sinus surgery. A septoplasty is often part of a rhinoplasty, so combining those two is perfectly okay.

Nostril asymmetry is common both before and after surgery. Yours is of a modest degree. If your turbinates are swollen they can be injected with steroids to reduce them and improve your breathing

Nasal obstruction can be multifactorial - septal deviation, turbinate hypertrophy, nasal valve collapse (static or dynamic), and can change with allergies/weather/more.
