I'm wanting to get the centre portion of my scar revised as its quite dark and thick, and according to my surgeon he needs to elevate the entirety of my scar. This would be the process according to him : resuspend the muscle and restitch the tissue. removing the scar tissue on the edges, raising again, the whole flat with umbrella, curse above the muscle fashion, and pulling down and re-suspending it in another position before restitching it.
