Revision rhinoplasty - does only the tip need correction or would more work be required? (Photos)
Good evening, I have a question about my revision rhinoplasty. I am 35 years old, slim, and 5'7 tall. I had my first rhinoplasty in 2018. At that time, I felt my nose was large and wanted to remove the dorsal hump. When I met the surgeon, he assessed me and said I would also need a chin implant (which I now feel may have been the main issue rather than my nose), but as I didn’t know better at the time, I agreed to both procedures. I was told he would remove the hump and make the result as natural as possible. He also discovered that my septum was deviated and performed a septoplasty at the same time. Long story short, my nose is now completely crooked to the left. I also go back every 1–1.5 years for filler to “straighten” it and to create cushioning on my tip, as a white spot becomes visible (I’m not sure if it is bone or something else). The doctor keeps injecting and says I don’t need to come back, but I do, as the filler dissolves and I am left with a final result that makes me feel very depressed. Could you please comment on what my options might be for revision? Is it likely that only the tip needs correction, or would more extensive work be required? And could you give a rough idea of the cost? I would also like to mention that I was on Roaccutane after the surgery, and I feel my skin has become thinner and more sensitive since then. I really appreciate your time and response. I will add photos before and after
