I have been suffering with severe dehydrated looking skin on my face. I drink tons of water, I use super hydrating products and yet my skin just looks awful. I’m 31 years old and I feel I look so much older. I’ve tried skin boosters, carboxy and PRP. I’ve considered profhilo or Tretonin. Any thoughts welcomed
Answer: A combination of a resurfacing laser such as Resurfx and Melapeels can help rejuvenate the skin. Fractional CO2 laser is an excellent tool for skin rejuvenation in our center in Santa Monica. We use the fractional multi-depth ablative approach to help resurface the skin, recontour acne scars, improve incisional plastic surgery scars, and reduce surface irregularities from skin tone to dark pigmentation. Our approach utilizes a multi-depth approach that targets melanocytes in the epidermis and collagen fibroblasts in the dermis. This approach can be combined with a TCA Peel in a process known as a sapphire peel. Fractional laser is excellent for acne scars and contour scars in the skin. Patients are advised to undergo skin protocols with Melarase creams before and after treatment to help reduce pigmentation. Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads can seriously improve surface sun damage and UV related pigmentation. After the laser, we expect redness for a few weeks as the skin improves. PRP and Hydrafacial enzyme facials can further improve skin quality after fractional co2. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Severe dehydration and creepy skin- combined treatment with Morpheus 8 , Dermal fillers, Profhilo, collagen-stimulating Hi, Thanks for your question and pictures. Based on the pictures provided, it seems you start to loose collagen (like everybody else :) due to the aging process, sun exposure ?, life style (smoking, excessive loose weight, alcohol, sugar etc.) ? , genetic ?etc. This leads to skin losing its elasticity, reduce thickness (skin became thinner) and increase wrinkles and sagging. Our body begins to lose collagen at around 30 years old however the effects become noticeable after several years. Unfortunately, there's no way to stop this process however there are several cosmetic treatments can reduce and build/improve collagen. Over the years, many new devices have become available for addressing skin laxity including laser therapy (e.g. CO2 , Erbium etc.) , radiofrequency (RF) and micro-needling, ultrasound, intense pulsed light (IPL), collagen-stimulating dermal fillers. In you case, it is important to perform a detailed medical ( including lifestyle etc.) where the doctor/surgeon is able to give you several options. The key here is to understand what you would like to achieve, what are your expectations In our clinic we offer a bespoke assessment and treatment plan with combination of Dermal fillers and Morpheus 8 (3 sessions 4 to 6 weeks apart)/Facetite/Accutite in combination with Profhilo, collagen-stimulating dermal fillers ( e.g. Radiesse, Sculptra etc. ), collagen drink and skincare Obagi/Zo skin health. These combined procedures will allow to increase the probability of skin tightening and so reduce more the risk of "saggy" skin. There is also the possibility to consider Laser resurfacing with CO2 or Erbium if indicated. Aftercare recommendations including healthy diet and exercise can also help. I would recommend to make an appointment with an expert aesthetic doctor for a medical assessment in order to make a bespoke treatment plan. Best Wishes, Dr Fiore
