What does Profhilo do for the face? Does it tighten loose skin or plump and add volume?

I have many years of experience injecting Profhilo in my satellite Israel practice where it was regulatory agency approved long ago. However, it is currently still NOT FDA--approved here in the U.S., although the company is actively working to obtain this approval, which may yet take another couple of years. Profhilo is a biostimulatory, HA-based agent that has been shown to help stabilize and improve the fat layer of the skin, stimulate new collagen and elastic fiber synthesis, and improve skin hydration and tautness. It typically requires several treatment sessions for optimal effect. Happily, in my Upper East Side Manhattan practice, I have been able to achieve many of the same goals using available HA skin boosters and other FDA-approved HA fillers for treating crinkly, crepey skin of the upper and lower face and for treating turkey and crepey necks. You would be wise to make sure to consult an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist injector. Hope this helps and best of luck.
