Getting front teeth veneers before a tooth in the back is extracted?

I am due to have a decayed tooth extracted in a few weeks - the tooth is at the very back of my mouth. I want to have veneers on my 4 front teeth (which are healthy) - is it ok to have the veneer treatment first, before the tooth at the back gets extracted?
