Negative canthal tilt is a normal variation. Nothing abnormal. You look symmetrical. No treatment needed. All the best! For more questions, check out our site or call our office at 916.771.2062
Yes, it appears that you have canthal tilt. However, that does not seem to affect your orbital symmetry to the degree that surgical correction is justified. Good luck.
All people have facial asymmetry. In that you are not alone.Facial asymmetry is primarily based on bone structure. If you look carefully, you’ll notice that the eye sockets are not lined up either. Your asymmetry is relatively mild and within one standard deviation. The human brain is accustomed to seeing people with facial asymmetry. This is because no one has a symmetrical face. If you look at symmetrical faces that are computer generated, you’ll recognize that they have an odd unfamiliar Appearance.I do not recommend surgical intervention for a symmetry that is within normal limits.I don’t think anybody notices this when you see them speak to them or in any other context.Your face is normal and you don’t need surgery.Best,Mats Hagstrom, MD
